Abstract: Modern information science has made possible the application of new technique and resources to academic research. For about ten years, there are about three Chinese Orthodox websites appearing in the internet world, such as “Taiwan Orthodox Church”, “St. Peter and Paul Church” and “China Orthodox Church”. From the academic view-point, the resources on these websites are of certain value for the Chinese researchers in Russian Orthodox studies. With the help of these, they can understand the Orthodox rituals and culture, the rich connotations of Orthodox philosophy and theology, as well as to differentiate Russian Orthodox’s development and trace in China. However, the researchers should take the attitude of recognizing the positive and negative aspects of Russian Orthodox doctrines and rationally making use of the resources on these websites for the purpose of our Orthodox studies.
