Abstract:With the end of "Cold War", superpowers' games regarding Central Asia were staged in succession. The United States developed actively in Central Asia and even brought forward the magnificent "Greater Central Asia Partnership" after 9·11 event. Soon afterwards, the United States was excluded collectively by Russia and Central Asian countries, while China developed bilateral partnerships with Central Asian countries steadily. With the interweaving of the strategies of the three superpowers China, Russia and United States, and the influences of Islamic regions in the west and European Union in the north, the influences of the outside world on Central Asia have become more complicated. In order to probe further into this issue, it is required to seek "standard and paradigm" which has regularities in a relatively broad space and long period; on this basis, with the combination of Central Asia's features in aspects of geographical relationship, diplomacy, etc, the influences of outside world on Central Asia and the development trend can be judged relatively accurately.
Key words: Central Asian countries; superpowers' games; regional safety; standard; paradigm
