Abstract: The trade development between Heilongjiang province and Russia not only has the importance to the economic development of Heilongjiang, but also is an important content of the development of the Sino-Russian relations. From the perspective of comparative advantage, complementarity and competitiveness of resources and industries, game theory and functions for economic development, this article analyses the trade size, trade structure, trade balance and trade effect of the two sides, defines the trade development direction and goals that fit their interests. On the basis of consolidating their traditional advantages and expanding their trade scale , the two sides should optimize their import-export commodity composition, push forward the industrial cooperation with a riority over the trade in technology, and realize the role of trade in driving regional economic development.
