Abstract: Marina’s Thirtieth Love , one of master works by a Russian postmodernist writer Sorokin, has a “new sense” of revolutionary meaning from beginning to end. The heroine Marina is a pitiful fi fth wheel who is character-broken, self-divided and downhearted by the force of environment. She is not a fi gure, but a symbol, a postmodernist cultural code with a dual gender and personality.
