Abstract: Ekimov is skilled in creation of rural themes. He is a successor in writing traditional rural prose in the Russian literary world. His works often unfold narration in mildly describing natural subjects and characterize through jumpy plots. His short story Feidisichy that won an award for an excellent story in the New World journal is a poster child of his unique artistic style.
