Abstract: After the Soviet Union collapse, the post-Soviet literature met with crisis in varying degrees, but was soon reconstructed. The reasons for this lay in how the state made laws to normalize and ensure citizens’ literature creation, in the process of how the state, literature circle, common people and private capital joined their efforts against literature crisis, and in the formation of cultural market and the force of constantly reallocating resources in the systematic framework. At the same time, culture, in its rebuilding process, sought and constructed a united Russia-state identity in the aesthetic way.
Key words: literature; cultural production activity; cultural industry activity; social aesthetic consumption
