Abstract: Russian religious philosophy of the Silver Age formed in the very late nineteenth and early twentieth century made up one important dimension of many theories and thoughts in Russia. Facing the social upheaval and the crisis of the time at the turn of the century, the philosophers at that time had a deep refl ection about Russia’s fate and gave a multidimensional and theoretical exploration for the outlet of Russia’s modernization. But, in general, their refl ection and exploration had close relations with theoretical generation mechanism. It was based on this mechanism that the consciousness and theoretical horizon peculiar to the philosophy of religion in the Silver Age were formed. If we can say that the Orthodox Eastern Church made up its unconscious theory impression, the German mysticism gave it some inspiration of thoughts and the German classical philosophy gave it an organized constructive model, then Soloviyov and Dostoevsky played a fundamental role in theory and made themselves clear about their historic mission and theory dimension.
