Abstract: As global climate getting warmer, the acceleration of ice cap melting in the Arctic region makes the geostrategic position of the region much more noticeable. The geopolitical rivalry for the Arctic region has heated up. Russia, which is the most important power in the region, has unique geo-superiority, and economic, military and other strategic interests in the region. In order to achieve these interests, Russia has taken many strategic measures. China must develop its own Arctic strategy as soon as possible, determine the scope of Chinese interests in the Arctic region, carefully study a variety of ways and means to safeguard China’s legitimate rights and interests in the region.
