Abstract: From the last half of the 19th century to the October Revolution, for strengthening political, economic and military forces in the Russian Far East and the Pacifi c region and consolidating its real occupation of the areas, Russia ran nautical schools, technical schools and marine training classes, trained a legion of marine professionals and made important contributions to the Far East’s naval forces and civil merchant ship’s operation.
