Abstract:
As an important part of the Soviet system and the Soviet mode, the censorship is an important expression of thinking and cultural policies. Objectively speaking, the censorship that was carried out in the time of Lenin is a measure that was forced to be adopted in the adverse and harsh circumstances. Then it was necessary to do so and it was understandable as well. The censorship in the time of Lenin was inevitably biased and it was strengthened and extended unreasonably by the Soviet leaders after Lenin and it brought a certain losses to the construction of the Soviet socialism. But it can not be denied that the censorship played a positive role.
