Abstract: China and The Soviet Union (Russia) are the largest neighbors. Their relations are the most important foreign relations for both of them and have a great influence upon their security and development. For more than a hundred years, the China and The Soviet Union (Russia) relations have experienced a tortuous journey of alignment and confrontation. History proved that a peaceful coexistence between China and The Soviet Union (Russia) benefited both and a fight between them made both suffer a lot, but forming an alliance was also not the best choice. On the basis of summing up historical experience and lessons, China and The Soviet Union (Russia) have found the best model fit for their development and established the relations of strategic partnership. The relations between the two countries are on the road of healthy and stable development.
