Abstract: As typical cultural symbol, the new year’s fir is reproduced gradually by different ideology and social
system, like state political power, intellectual and the common people. The history of the new year fir’s cultural
reproduction can be regard as the epitome of Russian social change. In the process of cultural reproduction, there

is a constant conflict between Russian traditional culture and the western culture, which shows Russian culture has a inclusive character between the east and west.
