Abstract: Culture has a deep and constant effect in international relations area. Both the Soviet Union and Eastern
Europe have a very rich political culture. There are many similarities between them, and fundamental differences.
Under certain historical condition, for the sake of national security and interests, the alliance of the Soviet Union
and Eastern Europe has certain rationality. But it will not last for long. This can provide us a new perspective to
analyze the evolution of the relationship of between the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe in the post-war.
