abstract: In the first half of the 20 th century, the October Revolution in Russia and the communist party revolution in China are not only the bottom-up political revolutions, but also the subversion of tradGorky and Hu Feng are typical intellectuals in the historical changes and the regime transition. They are also the new logo of intellectual who cultivated by the new regime deliberately (Soviet intellectuals and socialist intellectuals). They experienced a brilliant process from the intellectual elite to political elite, and also experienced the vacant and regeneration in the background of cultural revolution. Their experience reflected the choice and helpless of intellectuals who had double standards on “revolutionary moral and cultural moral” when facing with social reality and ruthless politics. As the innovators and disseminator of social value cultural system and ideology, intellectuals act as an important role in the new social which is in transition. They are experiencing the double impacts from political revolution and the cultural revolution in mentally and physically.
