Abstract:In early 1982, the first vice president of the Soviet KGB and the second of the Soviet communist party
secretary dead one after another. There are rumors about the cause of their death. The recent Russian research
results prove that, the direct result is involved in the Brezhnev daughter’s "gem diamond smuggling case". This is
associated with many officials and their families, and even related to Brezhnev himself which represent the Soviet
communist party officials’ corruption. Prevalence of corruption brought very bad social influence; also affect the
reform process of the Soviet Union. In the process of the collapse of the Soviet Union, the social elite also have to
do with this.
