Abstract: The modern Russian political party system originated in the end-stage of Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev period. But to a multi-party system, this is only a jurisprudential foundation, and a period of practice. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the development of Russia's political party system experienced two major phases: in the Yeltsin years, although immature, Russia's multi-party politics obtained the constitution basis. From disorderly to orderly, the multi-party politics laid the pattern. Putin’s ruling, accelerated political party system reform, which made the political parties a great reality influence to the country's political life and political structure. bThis is the stage that Russia political party system reform, and multi-party system tends to form. In the process of the establishment and development of political party system in Russia, the Russian league act am important function which cannot be ignored.
