Abstract: A large number of Russians once lived In Harbin, China. After the collapse of tsarist Russia, it is hard for Russian men to find a job in Harbin. Their wives and daughters were forced to come out to earn money. Japan published a lot of Harbin travel brochures and postcards with sexy Russian girls. In 1920s, Japan set off a tourism boom to Manchuria (Northeast China), some of them aimed at Russian beautiful and sexy tourism. In 1930s, Japan strengthened the management of Manchuria. The Porn Industry which inherited from the Tsarist Russia did not disappeared, and be used to attract the Japanese to Manchuria. In 1940s, Japan's war situation with the US and the UK deteriorated, Russian women worked in entertainment became a kind of metaphor, which can be thought as a kind of guarantee, Japan had the ability to catch up and surpass the western countries.
