Abstract: The implementation of Russian development strategy requires a good external environment. Ukraine crisis deteriorated the bilateral relationship between Russia and Ukraine and the relation between Russia and the west overall. This game will last for a long term, and this will led to a negative impact on the international environment and the peripheral security environment around Russia and lead to an adverse chain reaction on Russia's national image, national identity, development power and political Stability. This is a challenge for Russia to realize its development strategy objectives.
