Abstract:The special geographical features of Central Asia determine that the influence of strong extraterritorial power center plays a vital role for the political and economic development directions in this region. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, America and Russia have always been the two strategic forces posing great influence to the Central Asia. With the changes of overall international circumstance and the surrounding situation, the policies of America and Russia on Central Asia are also adjusted actively or passively.
