Abstract: In most of the period after China-Russia strategic partnership is established, diplomatic support should be the major field in bilateral strategic coordination. Diplomatic support is mainly reflected in two aspects: maintain the good surrounding and international safety environment together and establish the new international political and economic order; support the efforts of two sides to maintain the national integrity and territorial integrity. Taking the year of 2014 when China and Russia started strategic cooperation in natural gas and expanded economic and military technology cooperation as well as the subsequent promotion of “Silk Road” economic belt con- construction as the mark, the China-Russia strategic partnership has entered into the joint development period. The basic connotation of joint development lies in that: on the basis of maintaining the existing high-level diplomatic support, China and Russia will make butt joint cooperation in their economic and social development strategies and regional integration strategies, fully dig out the potential for their cooperation, and thus achieve the objective of joint development.
